PEQ63BA

The Audio Merge PEQ63BA, also known as “The Stepped EQ”, is a modern take on the classic program equalizers of the golden era, drawing clear inspiration from the Altec 9063B. Rooted in pre-Pultec EQP-1A design philosophy, it embraces a fully passive filtering approach focused on broad, musical tone shaping rather than surgical precision. At its core, The Stepped EQ is about controlled, intentional EQ decisions — bringing vintage behavior into a modern, recallable workflow through stepped gain control.
